ABSTRACT

The Personal Learning Environment (PLE) of Physical Education Pedagogy students is an essential component of self-directed learning during pre-service teachers and in their future role as teachers. In this area, they must be accompanied by the training programs on PLE design. In the present context, student preferences are unknown, which makes it difficult to create strategies to enhance their autonomy in learning with ICT in the context of the health crisis. The present study, from a quantitative approach, describes the preferences of Physical Education Pedagogy students in the design of their PLE. A survey is applied to 57 students with an instrument developed AD-HOC. A descriptive analysis of quantitative data and content analysis on qualitative data are practiced. Student's preferences were obtained, where the diversity of ICT tools used, a low reflection on their PLE design and deficiencies in the interaction, focused mainly on the known environment, high emphasis on the consumption of information and low emphasis on its production and dissemination prevails. The need for specific training actions associated with the autonomous learning competence that transcends a specific course on the curriculum map is raised. © GTE-Educational Technology Group, University of the Balearic Islands. ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 health crisis has challenged teachers to use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), with the consequent impact on the attitude towards these media. Present study identify and describes the factors associated with the attitude of Physical Education teachers towards the integration of ICT in the COVID-19 context. The study is qualitative with an exploratory and descriptive intention. 27 cases are studied through documentary analysis and in-depth interviews. 17 factors that influence the attitude of Physical Education teachers towards the integration of ICT during the health crisis are identified, five of which were not found in the ref-erence literature. The attitude towards ICT has been strongly conditioned by a high professional and personal commitment of teachers, which led to the adoption of tools, the adoption and adaptation of methods and practices more supported by ICT. The great challenge for educational institutions points to the development of strategies focused on overcoming the barriers associated with the factors analyzed.
